About Geomasters

Geomasters is a free, interactive geography learning platform designed to help people of all ages improve their knowledge of countries, capitals, flags, populations, landmarks, and more.

Our mission is to make geography education engaging and rewarding through gamification. Whether you're a student preparing for a test, a trivia enthusiast, or just curious about the world, Geomasters offers a fun way to learn.

• 🎯 Mixed Quiz – Choose categories (capitals, flags, population, landmarks, location, size, currencies and more) and test yourself with 10 randomly generated questions.
• 🗺️ Interactive Continent Map – Click any continent to zoom in and see each country's mastery progress. Click a country for detailed stats.
• 🏆 Live Multiplayer & Public Challenges – Compete against the clock and other players in real‑time or share custom quiz links.
• 👥 Friends & Challenges – Add friends, send friend requests, and challenge them to beat your quiz score.
• 📊 Progression System – Earn XP, level up, and master each country by answering correct 3 times in all categories (location, capital, flag, population, landmark, location and more).
• 🏅 Leaderboards – See who ranks highest in global score, home quiz performance and live multiplayer challenges.

Why we built Geomasters

Traditional geography learning can be boring. We wanted to create a visually rich, interactive experience where progress is visible, and every correct answer brings you closer to mastery. The platform is built with React, Supabase, and Leaflet – and it's completely free to use.
